The REO 1000 utilizes high-capacity SATA disk drives, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity (iSCSI) and Overland's unique ProtectionPAC software.
The REO 1000 with ProtectionPAC software provides flexible virtual device support - the ability for each virtual device to be configured as a disk LUN or virtual tape drive; dynamic virtual tape - the ability to dynamically size virtual tape drives to the size of individual backup jobs; and browser based management - proactive monitoring capability, event notification and remote management capability.
