EMC SRDF/Asynchronous provides a remote mirroring solution for Symmetrix DMX systems. Its SRDF/Asynchronous Delta Set architecture replicates data remotely with no effect on production applications and no distance limitations.

With SRDF/Asynchronous, you'll gain significant operational savings through reduced bandwidth requirements. This system's data replication needs only enough bandwidth to support average production workloads rather than peak workloads.

Data replication and movement between EMC Symmetrix systems

EMC SRDF/Data Mobility copies and moves data globally between EMC Symmetrix networked storage systems so your information is always available, anywhere. SRDF/Data Mobility moves volumes through Symmetrix high-speed I/O channels and cache so it doesn't burden your servers, networks, or production processes. This software is also data, database, OS, and platform independent and works with any model Symmetrix for your backup and recovery needs.

Synchronous remote replication for maximum information protection

EMC SRDF/Synchronous ensures zero data exposure for remote data replication over distances up to 200 km. It provides key functionality such as site failover and failback, source/target dynamic switching, incremental restore with immediate access, and updates and multi-pathing support. EMC SRDF/S also includes an Adaptive Copy mode, so you can perform non-synchronous updates to remote sites—across any distance.

SRDF/S is fully integrated with other SRDF products such as SRDF/Asynchronous, and with the EMC TimeFinder family of local replication products.
