The DAT 72 SCSI Tape Drive is available with SCSI connectivity in a choice of models including internal (which also fits in the 1U and 3U rack-mount kit), external, and offline hot-swap array module (which fits into the Tape Array 5300) making it compatible with virtually any server environment.

The HP StorageWorks DAT 72 comes complete with data and cleaning cartridge, HP Data Protector Express Single Server Edition software and its Bare Metal Disaster Recovery option (for single Windows, Linux or NetWare servers), and HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools (our comprehensive suite of tape drive management utilities). HP’s extensive testing program also ensures that HP DAT drives are compatible with a wide range of servers, operating systems and backup software.
