Overland REO 4500 Disk-Based backup and recovery appliance adds speed, reliability, and flexibility to any protection environment, featuring innovative Protection OS software that delivers volume and device virtualisation.

This also allows REO to be easily enhanced via current and future software PAC options.

  • Up to 32 virtual tape drives, 512 virtual cartridges, six partitions and/or any combination of up to 64 standalone virtual tape drives and/or disk volumes (LUNs)
  • Up to 27TB raw capacity, 45TB useable compressed virtual tape capacity
  • External interfaces: Two, Gb Ethernet (iSCSI) ports (RJ45); Two, 4 Gb Fibre Channel Ports (optional)
  • Compatible with all popular backup software
  • Ethernet (iSCSI) and Fibre Channel connectivity
  • Enables fast, reliable backup and recovery
