IBM BladeCenter HT Chassis is a new telecommunications optimised version of IBM BladeCenter H, delivering outstanding core telecom network performance and high speed connectivity (more than 1.2 Terabytes per second (Tbps) of aggregate throughput.

It is uniquely designed to support end-to-end, next generation network applications, spanning Control, Transport and Services planes, for Telecommunications Equipment Manufacturers and Service Providers.

  • Up to 12 blade server bays for extreme performance density
  • Supports high-performance dual-core and quad-core Intel, AMD Opteron and POWER processor blades
  • Up to four new high-speed capable switch module bays supported by 10 Gbps fabrics
  • Up to four hot-swap and redundant load-balancing power supply modules, DC or AC power
  • Delivers increased network infrastructure performance ideal for telecommunications Service, Control and Transport plane applications
